I can just barely remember my dream last night.
I think there was snow, and a magic marker (literally). I was trying to draw a backpack with a flower on it so that I could have somewhere to put my magic sparkly paint set, and then get to my track meet on time.
I get to the track meet to realize that I don't have any of my clothes for track, and my mom rushes over so I can quickly go home to get it (even though Eve did lend me clothes earlier in the dream... I guess I didn't like them or something). I was able to leave just before the 1600m race (which is right before the 400! Ahh!). I don't remember if I got back there in time or not (I probably didn't), but I do remember seeing Mike in the parking lot. I said hi.

Also, a few nights ago, I dreamed that I was going to a concert in a very worn-out-looking farm town that I had never been to before (we even took a hay ride to get there). Much to my dismay, the concert was already over by the time I got there and everybody had left. Having nothing else to do, I wandered the fairgrounds where the concert was held. I climbed up the track to a wooden roller coaster, terrified that at some point I would eventually get run over by it. Thankfully, I lived to tell the tale.

First off, let me say that the worst dreams I've ever had involve waves. Large - enormous - ones. And deep, deep water. Mountainous dunes with small clusters of green dune grass poking out like razors, and undertows that could pull a truck into the dark, bubbling sea of oblivion with a single wave.

And people wonder why I don't like the beach.

But I had a strange dream maybe two nights ago regarding some scary beaches. But first, I think that I was in a train traveling along the countryside to some unknown destination. I peered out the window and saw a group of construction workers cleaning up a train wreck that I remember seeing happen earlier in my dream-land. "Looks like they're fixing it up" someone said over my shoulder. Trucks upon trucks upon trucks lined the sandy area leading up to the train wreck, and I assumed that they were helping with the cleaning of the train wreck.
I began to see enormous dunes as we approached a beach. I assumed it was a beach, at least. (thankfully, I didn't see the actual ocean due to the largeness of the dunes). Hundreds of cars were half-buried in the sand, as if one packed day at the beach a sandstorm hit and no one ever bothered to recover their cars. Several frazzled-looking people slowly walked among the dunes. The train slowed down, as if offering to pick them up. Some of them lifted up their heads and slowly waved to the train with odd grins on their faces. Creepy.

I haven't been putting off writing on this blog.
I just haven't really remembered my dreams lately.
And it makes me kind of sad.
I like dreaming.

I had a few interesting dreams last night.
In the first one, I was going on a car trip. Someone told the guy I like to come, and he had agreed to tag along. I was naturally excited, but I soon realized that up close we was nothing like I thought he was. He had this odd smirk plastered on his face the whole time and he certainly wasn't as good-looking as I though he was. After a while, my mom and I got out of the car. We were near a saltwater marsh, and there were hundreds of beautiful dark blue mussel shells sticking out of the water, each one about a foot and a half in diameter, their "mouths" agape. I came close enough to touch one, and when I did, it slowly closed its open shell. The most fascinating thing, though, was that each one was surrounded by stunning purple and pink and white crystal formations.
Next, I think I was at a hotel. Wherever it was, it was very colorful and modern-looking, but it was very dark at the same time (not metaphorically, I mean the lights were all very dim). I saw one of my close guy friends in the hallway and he suddenly blurted out to me, "I like you a lot, and I don't know what to do about it." I suddenly felt my chest tighten, and I wasn't sure how to react. Before I could, though, I had already moved on to another dream.
It was summertime at my house, and everything was full of life. The trees (which are currently bare) were lush and green and were teeming with all sorts of beautiful and colorful insects. Thousands of beautiful butterflies flew across the lawn. It was wonderful.
However, everywhere besides my lawn was covered in snow and was dark, like there was a spotlight on my house or something, and the rest of the world was pitch black. I suddenly saw several shadowy figures dash down the road to my neighbor's house, and I had decided in my dream that the owner of the house had recently passed away, although I know the family that currently lives there is alive and well. Without thinking, I began to run after them, which made them run even faster. When I had reached my neighbor's house, everything inside in a wreck. The windows had been smashed in and everything was scattered around. I began screaming at the intruders. "You can't just take his stuff! You think you can just take a dead guy's stuff? Get out!" I guess that was enough to scare them, and they scrambled off.

Wow, um, I think I already had a kind of lucid dream last night... or this morning whatever.

I read somewhere that to have lucid dreams you have to keep on doing checks throughout the day to see if you're dreaming. I tried that yesterday, and I ended up doing it in my dream, I think.

I think I might have been half awake, but I managed to acknowledge that I was dreaming, and I made a giant bowl of ice cream appear. I dunno, it just kinda felt like I was just thinking instead of dreaming. I felt like if I was dreaming it would have felt more real, and I would have actually been able to taste and feel the coldness of the ice cream. But I didn't so I guess it didn't really end up working that well.

I also feel like I had this sort of experience thing I read about where your mind wakes up before your body does. I felt like my mind was definitely awake, but my body was still sleeping. Everything was dark, even though I knew that it should have been light out because it was probably around 10 in the morning. It only just occurred to me that it was because my eyes were closed.

Well, it was a very eventful morning. I'll try again tomorrow night. :]

Sorry I haven't really been posting on here. I keep on forgetting to write down my dreams, and then I wind up forgetting them. And that pretty much defeats the purpose of this blog.

So, last night I had a brief dream that I went skiing, and I couldn't stop worrying about getting stuck on the chairlift. If you haven't seen the trailer/the movie "Frozen", then you'd understand. Fortunately, I didn't get stuck and I moved onto my next dream interlude. Somehow in this dream, I had a baby. Yeah, I just randomly had a baby in my possession and I somehow knew that it was mine. At first, I would hug and cuddle her. Moments later, I would end up bawling and then lose her in my own house after looking away from her for just a few moments. Needless to say, I watch too much TV (i.e. "Teen Mom").

On another note, one thing that I've always wanted is to have a lucid dream. I can't really recall any recent instances in which it has occurred to me that I was dreaming, and therefore I could do whatever I wanted to. I really wish that I could, though, simply 'cause it sounds like FUN. :]

I had a dream the night before last, and I forgot to blog about it. Oh darn. Well, I remember it starting off with me at a sort of amusement park type place, full of animatronic pink dinosaurs and whatnot. Before I could get on a ride, my friend urged me to come with her in her car so we could eat at a restaurant for dinner, but we had to catch out train, first. She began zooming towards the train terminal (this was all indoors, by the way... and she can't drive), but she had accidentally driven too far. Luckily, she was able to somehow maneuver her way backwards through random twists and turns to get to the train on time. When my friend and I arrived at the uber-modern restaurant, I somehow received a video message from a creepy stalker guy. I don't remember what he said, but I do recall having it freak me out quite a bit. In the next part of my dream, I was suddenly in Manhattan, searching for Times Square. I was all alone, but I wound up finding it without any trouble and without having a panic attack from being totally alone. It was still decorated for Christmas. I think that was the end of my dream interlude.

Last night, I had a dream, but it was very fuzzy. I vaugley remember being at my school, but it was way bigger and had a pool and a play gym of some sort. I was bouncing around in the play gym for a lot of my dream, I think. I then came out from the play gym and saw a rather hot guy from my school come out from the pool area without a shirt on (I don't know why on earth I dreamed that up). For whatever reason, I particularly noticed two freckles on the side of his torso.
After I came out of the school, I feel like I was suddenly transported into an episode of CSI. However, there were no murders or anything-- instead, someone had stolen a precious vase and someone had vandalized the inside of my school with spray paint. I was suddenly on the side of a road, with the stolen vase standing upright in the very middle of it. Before I could run to to save it from the oncoming traffic, a truck zoomed by and smashed it into thousands of tiny pieces. All I could remember thinking was how difficult it would be to try and find fingerprints on it.

I feel like there was more to my dream, but I can't remember it. Oh well, I hope it will come to me eventually.
